Nia glances out the window of the sea train, sighing a bit as she holds her side, wincing at the pain. She looks once more at the newspaper, 'it did say he was here. somewhere around Nanohana, Guess that's where I need to head.' She thinks as she pulls out a notebook. She begins to write some ideas for things she could make to help herself in combat. It'd be nice to have some sort of temporary boost, something that can give me an edge up on an opponent. She ponders, her scientific mind launching into overdrive as she begins to scrawl out some ideas on how she could raise someone's speed and strength. She starts making a list of items that can trigger an adrenaline surge. She quickly looks over the list, noting things that would be readily available on the desert island.

Ladies and gentlemen, This is the conductor speaking, We will be arriving on sandy island in 5 minutes, Please take all your belongings, and thank you for riding the Sea-Train.

Nia gathers her belongings, stuffing them all into her waterproof bag. She crawls to the back of the Sea-Train, and slides out of the sea-train into the ocean, looking for someplace safe to set up her lab. She swims through the ocean wincing at the pain of her wound as she does so. She swims into the bay of Alabasta looking for a cove or sheltered cay. Someplace quiet to create and recover. Maybe I'll find where Cetus has stuffed himself while I'm looking. She thinks as she begins swimming along the coast, investigating the various sea tunnels and other hidden holes.

Nia swims through a small cave system, finding an air pocket deep within the system with enough space to set up a small lab, She sets her bag on the wide ledge, pulling out a small black briefcase, and setting it on the ledge. Opening the briefcase, she pulls out the small burner and the six vials and the measuring jar, checking for any damage, wincing as she moves her body aching from the injuries she sustained in water seven. At least my kit is still in working order. That mean's I'll be able to work on the idea I came up with. this space will work to make these idea's into reality. She thinks as she begins to pack up the kit. She closes the briefcase and puts it back into her bag, before she pulls out her note book and begins to write down the supplies she will need to mix and make the drugs.

She closes her note book as she finishes her list, putting the notebook back into her bag, she pulls the backpack back onto her back as she twists and dives down back into the tunnel system. She swims through the caves emerging into the bay of Alubarna. She glances around the Bay, I don't see any sign of Cetus or any other fishman in the bay. I guess I'll need to either find a person to carry me or to go and get the stuff. What to do. Nia ponders as she swims to the surface.

Nia surfaces near the ruined docks pulling her self on to the dock she looks at the nearby dock worker. Excuse me, I wonder if you would be so kind as to carry me to the nearest flower shop? She asks the burly human, who had just set down a large barrel. I'm willing to pay. but I really need to purchase some flowers.

Miss, haven't you read the news coo? We're kinda in the middle of a war. All these pirates running around, and now the marines making matters worse. do you really think a flower shop is still open? also why would I help you? one of your kind did this to the docks. He responds looking down on the small mermaid.

Yes, because it doesn't seem like there is currently a battle going on in this city, and just because one of my kind is a bad egg doesn't mean we all are. Because some of your kind enslave others don't mean you all do, does it? how would you like it if I judged your entire species based on what some of your kind do? Nia responds never loosing her calm and cheerful tone.

Thank you so much, again, Nia says as the man carries her into a shop named The Rosy Card.

No Problem, Miss, You're paying me. Aren't you? He answers as her carries her to the counter.

The shop is a simple layout, various flowers in various arrangements, at the counter is a female who is carefully arranging a bouquet.

Excuse me, Miss, I'm looking for these plants. a Dokara Cactus, a half dozen Alubarna Roses, and six Nanohana Tulips. If you have a dokara cactus blossoming that would be ideal. Nia says pulling out her money pouch. How much will that cost me? She asks.

About 35,000 Beli. The Florist responds, turning to collect the items.

Nia turns to look at the man. Oh shoot, I also need coffee. It's important, to have caffeine. Would you be a dear and take me to a general store as well?

Are you sure that will be it? the man responds, giving her a glare.

Yes, I just need a few other things. Nia responds, as she sets her bag down on the counter.

Just put them in here. She says to the florist, slinging the bag back onto her back as they head back into the streets to find a general store.

Almost ready to begin making the boosters, just needs the coffee, and honey was, and the tools to grind the ingredients together. Soon I will have the ability to boost my strength, or the strength of others, Nia thinks as they move through the city.

Crazy Heart Pirates Mafia

A rather large fish man surface out of the water along the ruined docks. The rather large fish wasn't alone as he was riding what seems to be a massive crocodile of some sort. He had just arrive to the area no to long ago, and was out patrolling the dock of the area where the locals, and the marines was repairing the docks.

The Soldat Kob was one of the fishman under the infamous Oceanus whom have taken up the title Kapitän Kommandant, and started a fishman mafia of some kind. Under the command of Oceanus otherwise Cetus Neptune the CHP Mafia had begin to make a name from themselves enough that the local didn't interfere with the Mafia out of fear of the leader dealing with them.

It wasn't that the marines was scared it was because it wasn't there jurisdiction to handle these group in Alabasta until they mess with something they are taking care of. For example the marines was providing help to the local as far as supplies and things of that natural. But they where under strict orders not to mess with local criminal out of fear of Alabasta crumbling royal family may declare war . That was something they didn't want as they was just extending there diplomatic toward the government as a whole, and coming in strong may cause the government to think that they are trying to cease control of the island from the royal family or what left of it.

The large wotan had spoke into the baby Den Den Mushi as he said," This Soldat Kob I have just arrive to Nanohana port doing route partol of the streets for any suspicious activity . " There was a short pause and another voice replied but not until he chuckle,"Soldat Kob we will be on stand by just in case you need reinforcements. Base out " Went that the voice on the other line had hung up. Kob had grin as he tap Beki tap Beki to climb out the water unto to ruined docks. Well what was left of it Beki was able to safely climb out of the water and then make it to the sandy land.

There was several scream of fear due to massive beast that Soldat was riding on and a small panic that the marines decide to ignore. Because the wotan riding beast didn't attack anyone but simply ride the beast which wasn't a crime not at all. If you look carefully you could see two signature pink purple hearts on each side of his belly button. Kob guide Beki through the streets of Nanohana which out any trouble as he carefully scan the people and his surrounding of the area.

The screams was getting closer and closer to the flower shop where Sorrow was located at as well. Soon the local government would act and may have to deal with local Alabasta police officials if he don't leave soon.

Shit, Who is that person? They look like a fishman, but bigger then most. Why is everyone screaming? She asks, looking at the man carrying her.

I don't know who that is, but those hearts means he works for Oceanus. They're screaming because, all members of the Crazy Hearts are vile and malicious murderer's with no regard for human life. When I saw you I thought you might be one, but you didn't have the hearts. Which is why I'm carrying you. The man says, turning to sprint towards the general store.

Well, Cetus sure works fast, establishing a reputation, striking fear into the hearts of others. She thinks chuckling a little at her joke. Did he decide to change the name after all? This guy called them the Crazy Hearts. Is that just shortened or is it actually what they've been calling themselves. Anyway, It's good to know that they are still here, I can use them to get into contact with Cetus then. Hmm, but this man doesn't like them, so I can't really ask him to stop and let me talk to them. hmm, Do I pretend to be kidnapped? that might draw a response, I'm not near water unfortunately. Note to self, Find a way to fight out of the water, that doesn't require legs. that's the hard part. I'd eat a devil fruit but that would prevent me from using my natural powers. This will take some thought.

While Nia was lost in thought, the man carrying her starts get near the fishman and Crocodile, But he trips over an uneven stone in the road and both him and Nia go down in front of Beki and Kob. She cries out in pain as the wound on her side flares up as she hits the ground.

Crazy Heart Pirates Mafia

The Soldat Kob carefully escort Beki through the streets of Nanohana. The people went out there way to move out the large Wotan way whom was approximately 12 feet tall. As the Soldat rode Beki he was able to see everyone within the crowd until he spot a mermaid being carried by a human.

The Soldat Kob had chuckle at this sight of the merfolk being carried by human such himself. As Kob continue to advance forward he could make out that human and the merfolk was heading his direction. Thus he didn't have to go out his way to track them down. What he didn't expect was the duo falling directly in front of him separating by 2 meter of stone.

The Soldat Kob had grinned as he pull out his flint lock and aim it at the human on laid on the ground, and said ,"I am Soldat Kob of the Crazy Heart Pirates Mafia. You human are carrying a superior being and you dare drop them. Give me one reason why I should blow ya head off right where you stand flithy human monkey."The flint lock was aim sqaure at the human skull any werid movement that could be consider hostile would result in a bullet to the human head or Beki bitting off a large proportion of the human body. As for Kob he watch the movement human and carefully examine the mermaid he haven't seen one of them in ages it is good to see one he had noted to himself.

As for the local government they had receive word of the appearing fish men and decide to dispatch a small small of 5 men to handle the situation. They would arrive within 2 post or so. The sky was clear so that was good the same condition of Alabasta is a factor.

I tripped over a stone, The roads here are in bad repair from all the battles that have taken place recently. Please don't kill me. I was carrying this lady where she needs to go to do some shopping. Also why should I give you a reason to be shot? The man says hold very still as he heard the flintlock being cocked.

Nia slowly sits up brushing off the dirt from the tumble. She winces in pain as she brushes off the dirt from her side. I still think its stupid to put both Pirate and Mafia in the name... She thinks as she looks up at the fishman, and the crocodile. I can't really walk, so I'd prefer if you didn't shoot my legs. Soldat Kob. Unless you plan on taking responsibility for getting me to not only the general store but also back to the shore. I'm sure He will not drop me again, right, Sir? She asks turning to look at the man on the ground near her.

That's right, I won't drop her again. sir, I promise. I was only rushing because I need to be getting back to work at the docks. we just got a shipment of food and other relief items in, you know like food, blankets, medicine, delicate instruments, stuff like that. The man replies slowly beginning to stand up, moving over to Nia and slowly picking her up. And then turning slowly to enter the building right infront of him, the one with a sign that reads Lucky's General Supply, unless he gets shot of course.

Kob had listen to the words of the human, and the merfolk to the point that she plea that human wouldn't drop her again. Kob was so disgusted at how friendly the fishman was toward the human, and spit on the ground as he adjust his aim to next of the human as he discharge it. Then said,"Shut up both of ya. I don't have time for this bickering back, and forth tread carefully you too!" There was several brief scream as people begin to run due to the fear of Kob, and Beki killing or harming them. But that wasn't the case today. With that Beki exhale releasing a puff of air as Kob lightly pat him on his head as the large croc turn around. As he did that the croc massive tail swung around, as it attempt to swipe at both at the human, and merfolk.

This was result of the croc turning would be that anything behind him that was within 14 meters risk getting hit by massive tail. Not that Beki was trying too or that Kob instructed him but because it was natural development due to the massive croc. With that Kob, and Beki begin to make it back to the docks. As they travel Kob Baby Den Den Mushi to base awaiting for base to pick up, and respond to him.

Kob wasn't in trouble or anything but he did want to report to them about the mermaid he had just seen, and report of his status as he had a time chart to make. Taking a deep breath Kob continue to advance back to the docks.

Thank you for that ma'm, I didn't expect you to stick your neck out for me. I guess what you said at the dock was true, not all of your species are evil the man says as they enter the store, right as the crocodile turns around

Wasn't a problem. I hate when people are violent for no reason. Nia says, pausing to think Why are so many of my kind bad eggs. I mean, I'm not one to talk, really, I'd do anything to test an invention... But no need to openly flaunt my disregard, for life in general.

What can I do ya fer? Asks the old man behind the counter

Excuse me, I need a mortar and pestle, a pound and a half of bees wax, and 5 pounds of Coffee. Please. Nia says, looking around the store, seeing if anything else catches her fancy.

Not too often do we get one of yer kind who's so polite. The old man says as he puts a mortar and pestle on the counter as well as two chunks of beeswax. He turns and begins measuring out the coffee, humming to himself.

How to get into contact with that Soldat Kob, he probably takes orders from Cetus. I could probably talk to him if I knew where he was going, if he's staying in the water, I could 'call' him if he's in range. hmm, what to do. Nia ponders coming out of her thoughts as the old man sets the bag on the counter.

Anythin' else, miss? the old man asks

Nope, how much do I owe you. Nia responds

Umm, lets see, carry the 1, 15,000 for the coffee, 2,000 for the wax, 10,000 for the pestle, 27,000 beli. the old man says nodding and holding out his hand.

Nia nods and hands over the cash, putting the items in her bag.The young man begins walking back to the docks. carrying her much like a princess.

Kob had grunted as he past the human along the sandy road. The heat was getting to him, and had cause him to feel a bit hot. Just like the rest of the people along the road the harsh condition of the island was no joking matter. He had been here for a while long enough to know that this island heat condition aren't to be taken lightly.

It came to past that Kob had finally arrive at the dock again only this time. This time he was greet by the local government official that was alert of his presence . It was about of total of 10 well equip men each of them now aiming there weapons at Beki, and Kob. To be frank they block the path of Kob so he couldn't escape into the water until he pass them.

Letting out a sigh the local government official had said,"Already lad keep ya hands where I can see them. Any strange movements result in ya getting a bullet to ya dome with ya pet to follow ya." As the government official spoke he had signal for 4 men to walk over to Kob, and Beki in a cautious like manner they would halt there progress until they was about 4 meters from Beki, and the wotan. Once again the government official called out saying,"Alrighty lad toss over ya weapons... nice, and easy!"

The soldat had chuckle at this development he was kinda in a pickle but it not nothing he couldn't handle with the help of Beki. The first weapon he had slowly reach for was his sword as he toss it over to closest government official whom was only 4 meters away from him.

The weapon landed on teh ground with a thud, and the surrounding people begin to clear the area. In fear of all hell breaking loose which would happpen shortly if Kob doesn't toss over the flint lock, and listen to the orders of the government official.

Damn Seakings, I need to get better at fighting, I should find a way to fight from a distance, that suits my style of fighting, She thinks wincing at the pain in her side, I'm going to need to patch that up, but science first in all things. she adds mentally as she dives back beneath the surface to prepare for the next attack.

The Soldat Kob had watch as the government official pick up his sword. It was at this time that mermaid, and the human had arrive to the scene. Not that it matter to him he was too focus on the arm man in front of him. Letting out a sigh the government official said,"Alright lad now the flintlock next! Slowly or else."

He had signal for his men to aim at Wotan even though they wasn't the best shot they may get lucky enough to hit him. But that is up to lady luck, and how close they were. Only 2 men was 4 meters away the rest was behind them about 10 meters from the water supply.

Regardless as the Wotan Kob slowly reach for his weapon the mermaid, and the human begin to make there way to the water. The government Official in charge had said,"Halt!" changing his attention to the mermaid he had examine her from a far, and what he could see he there was no heart along her chest or body. So that mean that she wasn't apart of the Crazy Heart Pirate Mafia. Which was a relief such a cute fishly like that shouldn't hang out with those bunch of fools.

After a few seconds he had said,"Never mind miss you be continue on." As she pass the group she had some how made eye contact with the massive Wotan. Which pretty much hinted something was about to happen so the Wotan Kob prepare himself for the worse. As soon as he was about to toss his flint lock toward the government official the mermaid had already hop into the water, and cause a large stream of water too hit 2 guard square in the back causing them to fall forward, and discharge a round.

The rounds the duo had fired off miss there target completely due to being hit by a surprise it is that fact, and the fact they wasn't the best shooters to begin with. The result had cause Kob to gentle tap Beki head which cause Beki to swing his massive body around, and tail.

Yup you guest it the massive tail completely hit the guard legs which such force that it cause the guards lets to either fracture or break. Regardless the damage they was on the ground, and unable to react. In that time Kob had jump behind Beki, and use him as cover. As several bullets follow behind the Croc success tail swipe they found themselves hitting against the durable skin of Beki. The bullets didn't go anywhere, and the result only pissed off Beki more.

After the discharge of 10 rifles each of them shot about 1 bullet. Beki quickly charge forward in an attempt to use his massive body to push them into the water, and possibly harm them along the way. With his massive jaws as for Wotan Kob he simply follow behind Beki, and brutal stomp out the already injured government official as they pass.

The government official struggle to move out the way of the massive Croc as they was clearly scared. To the point that the marines near the area that was fixing up the docks decide to step in{next post marines}. The marines begin to rush over to the area they will arrive soon.

Nia brings up her hand, blasting a government official, who is trying to get up. Soldat Kob, I've been looking for Oceanus, he told me to meet him where ever he made a splash, I've been looking for him while also going about my own business. She says, looking around the docks. preparing to bolt back deeper into the sea.

Hopefully, Cetus actually told this man to expect me. I'd hate for him to attack me right now, while I'm already injured, I'd like to resolve this skirmish, quietly and without drawing too much attention, But if this man takes his ques from Cetus, he's probably violent, and it said that Cetus had destroyed the port in the news coo. Nia sighs, keeping her hands at the ready to create a water blast.

If you're still on the fence, I am a doctor, I can help people recover from their wounds. Nia says gauging the fishman's response to her statements.

Hopefully if he doesn't believe that I've talked with Cetus, He'll at least see the value in having a doctor with them, I still need to finish my prototypes for the boosters. Maybe I can use the crew to test the prototypes. I'm sure they'd willing to take a risk to be stronger. I'll have to approach the subject if he allows me to continue moving with them. I wonder how big the crew actually is. Don't want to bring that up right now, don't want to seem too eager to get information. She thinks analyzing the situation.
