There is no proof if his claims to be the Son of the Red King was factual or not. But, his claim and challenge was enough to spring forth a shift in the world. Piracy has already been picking up steam but this has pushed it to heights that no one expected. The Marines and Cipher Pol weren't able to apprehend him on Baltigo but are still on the hunt.
Trouble on Water 7
The Poverty stricken area of Water 7 has gone through some unexpected changes. Despite the World Government doing their best to assist with reforming the area they didn't want change. This though was not the people's fault but rather the actions of a Pirate poisoning their minds and forcing them to work under her. We weren't able to get a lot information on this but the World Government has assured us that they have sent one of their best over to Water 7 to help in making sure peace can be established. Another threat has been rumored to be to be have also arrived to Water 7.
Fire in the Sand
Sandy Island has been swarming with Piracy as of late. And with the the challenge issued by Soju that activity has increased even more. Swarms of Pirates taking up resident there and committing atrocities of all kinds. Just like with Water 7 the World Government has sent forth some of their best to make sure that peace can be regained. There are a few Pirates that have stuck out even before the challenge issued by Soju and are part of the reason for this migration of Pirates to Sandy island. They are located within the Big Mover's section.

Shining Marines
Hannibal "The Hero" Uchis, Gozu "Sleeping Beast" Naganori, and James "Arrow" Sparks are three young Marines that you should know off. As they are individuals that have gone beyond the call of duty. Hannibal had been dubbed a Hero on Sandy Island with his attempts to fight against the rapid growth of piracy there. Gozu also has gained a bit of achievements from doing his part on Sandy Island but what really has been something the people look up for is his defeat of the famous Rum-beard Pirates two months ago. Now, on to James Sparks. He, out of the three, has made sure he will not let Piracy or those that call themselves Revolutionaries act as they please. Liberating the entire Island of Flevance from the clutches of the Revolutionary Giovanni Noir. The Island of Flevance now being now under the protection of the World Government.
