With their time on Jaya over and an island marked to travel to, Mashyuu, Harley and Sky stood atop the Skycleaver's main deck. The ship had been primed and ready to set sail an hour ago and now they simply awaited for the crew to assemble. Earlier they agreed to split into two groups, half of the group going on Sofia's ship, the other taking Mashyuu's. It was a bit of a heart ache for Mashyuu to say goodbye to some of his friends and trust them to be safe on Sofia's ship but with Sky, Mashyuu's trust navigator to lead the way he knew that Sofia wouldn't be far behind.

The sun began to rise on the sea, wind blew and would have caught the sails had Sky not ordered them drawn shut. She waited silently for the perfect draft while anyone coming with Mashyuu finished prepping and boarding. Mashyuu stood atop the Captain's Quarters of the Skycleaver, the massive Skypiean ship that had been stolen from Mashyuu's former lover Angelica roared as it started to intake water from its forward pipes and eject a blueish mist that looked like a set of clouds.

Once the crew had boarded and were ready, Sky pointed at the sails and shouted. "Show me what this baby is made of! Set sails!" Mashyuu flew up and pulled a rope, dropping the sails safely into place then wrapped the rope along the masts of the ship, keeping the sails locked. A massive burst of wind carried the Skycleaver out of the docks and towards Jordsand. With the wind in his hair, Mashyuu landed next to Sky and Harley who had been watching Sky work the wheel of the ship, and looking at the map provided by Gunther, Mashyuu's blacksmithing mentor. "So long Mock Town, it's been an honor forming a crew here but now it's time to start our journey, but we will be back soon. Dai, Gideon, be careful here and stay safe. I'll be back soon for you." Mashyuu muttered while glancing over his shoulder to the rapidly shrinking island of Jaya...

Madori looked up and saw Mashyuu giving orders to the rest of the crew aboard the Skycleaver. The time was finally night. After Madori had made a separate raid with Kouse on a transport ship. The suppliers had been working with the Marines to move a most particular ore. Madori got wind of the move through one of his contacts and it was true. They found themselves a nice load of the ore Seastone. Largely unappealing to look at it, it had an ability more valuable than its weight like gold.

The ore hailed from the island of Jordsand. This recent discovery has the world on watch now. There was something they could use to battle the Devil Fruits. Madori was one of the those Devil Fruit users however he understood the importance of this control. The Magma man would have to enjoy the rare time he would be at sea from Jaya.

This would be his first time visiting another Island. He was excited to see the rest of the world. He had made plenty of new friends along the way, some on another ship led by a one Sofia. He helped her out of a tight bind and they all were headed the same way. Perhaps she would want to them after everything. After those trials and tribulations in Madori helping defeat a Hunter with a Supernova level bounty. They were bound by trauma. And Madori looked out at sea knew they there was only more to come. So..who knows?

He could finally get out of here. After so long. How long? Who knows? Maybe another story at some point down the line will chronicle the amount of time he invested in to hiding out in the forest here on Jaya. Maybe someone will find a journal with detailed dates and the occasional incoherent scribble of a manic mind trying to detail the day via pictorial representation. But for now, this was a story about an exodus from a shitty island filled with shitty people off to a grand adventure on another island, that hopefully, was not in fact shitty itself.

He collected everything he owned. Which, wasn't much. Just the important stuff. He grabbed his slingshot, The Beast Horn, and tucked it away against the small of his back. His signature jacket he was never seen anywhere without. And a satchel filled to the brim with strange patterned and colored seeds capable of growing at a moment's notice.

Once he had everything in place, and made sure his pants were on and this wasn't in fact a dream about getting off of the island again, no, this was real, he made sure of it. He double checked.

Rushing to the Skycleaver, and then up on the deck, Elias would seek out the captain, "Reporting for duty captain! Ready to get off of this shitty rock and then on to a new adventure." He was more than ready, he wanted to get out of here before someone came looking for him. Off to Jordsand!

"Madori babe! I'm gonna need you to take the helm while I address the map. Just turn her the directions I tell you when I tell you. IF you do it right I'll give you a good reward." Sky shouted out to the man who simply stood upon the Skycleaver and seemed to be drifting off in his own mind. The female Skypiean then looked over at Mashyuu, giving him a friendly smile until Harley eventually wandered away. "What's up with that other Skypiean? The one who you met and asked to help Sofia. The one who's really pretty and can't hold her rum." She nudged Mashyuu and the Pirate Captain started to blush. "I see. Well... I won't tell you what to do and I'm gonna tease you no matter what. But Harley is going to be hurt. She really likes you. A lot and I get it. If you and Perila are going to be together that's fine. Just don't hide it from Harley... I actually like her and think this crew has a big future." Sky advised Mashyuu, who simply stood stoically. It wasn't that he didn't take her seriously, in fact he took her words to heart and was considering when he should tell Harley that he just didn't look at her in that light and that he was actually quickly falling for Perila.

Mashyuu brushed the shaggy black hair atop his head and loosened the tie he wore around his neck. "I'm going to the forge. I have some things I need to make before we make land. You're in charge until I get back." Mashyuu gave command of the Skycleaver to the navigator as he should have and walked by Madori as he traveled to the lower deck. "Elias, you're on the crows nest for now. Keep an eye on things and warn us if the ship seems to be on a course to hit something. I want a smooth ride." Mashyuu ordered and vanished below deck to head to his forge.

Harley wandered around the ship for a bit, looked out to Sofia's ship and waved as if they could see her even though they couldn't really talk to one another without someone flying between ships. She slowly made her way over to Elias and nudged him. "You know we haven't really talked much since you joined the crew. I was recovering the last few times we met and the last time everyone was trying to figure out what island we would go to. What exactly is it you do?" Harley asked, interested in getting to know her new crewmates.

"So.... Mister Madori. That's a strong jawline you have there. Must get all the ladies weak in the knees. Got anyone in your life?" Sky asked and placed her map on his back. "I'm borrowing your back to make sure we are on the right path." She warned him to keep the magma man from burning the map by mistake.

Sky was especially exuberant today, they were on a new adventure to an island covered in mystery. There was no news on the island or the fact at what makes it so important. The Marines have been on the hush hush with this information. They didn't want the general public to know of the possible gold mine that was Jordsand. Madori guessed he should be feeling excited as well, once they would land, he would wreak havoc.

This was definitely the type of island you wanted some stakes in. So Madori decided to play along with the Navigator of Skylceaver. She gestured for him to join her by the stern. Begrudgingly Madori broke out of his daydream and walked up the stairs to join her. Sky began to say,
"Madori babe! I'm gonna need you to take the helm while I address the map. Just turn her the directions I tell you when I tell you. IF you do it right I'll give you a good reward."

"Sure thing Sky. I'll be waiting for that reward however. I have the sharpest memory." Sojima gave her a look but didn't pay to much attention. Getting distracted could be costly, but being a Pirate was all about indulging in some of those distractions. He could see Sofia's ship in the distance, with a telescope he was sure they would be able to see them. Some more members of his crew were stationed on with her, making traveling much easier. They would meet up eventually, they just had to enjoy the weather. Thankfully it was good for the sails and smooth sailing.

She returned to comment on his jawline. Hawking on his previous thoughts, "There's no one for me yet. The life of a Pirate seems to be hectic for love. Maybe when its all said and done." He answered Sky.

As the captain walked away without even so much as addressing him, he slumped his shoulders forward and purposely stuck out his lower jaw, trying to mimic Mashyuu's voice, "Oh yeah, nice to see you Elias. I am going to go work in the forge. Yeah, nice to see you. Not like it's common to greet your allies whenever you see them. Ya twat." Those last two words were in his voice as he stretched and cracked his back before smiling at the clouds up in the sky.

That was when the woman known as Harley came up and bumped him. A surprising gesture that made Elias topple over and flail his arms like miniature windmills before he stomped a foot down to keep his footing. She wanted to know what he did? He didn't really have a set role on the ship. He wasn't a qualified marksman, his weapon of choice was too out of the ordinary. He wasn't a cook. He wasn't a navigator. He worked with plants.

He held up the satchel containing his seeds and gave her a look devoid of any emotion other than that dopey -matter-of-fact stare, "I work with plants. I got these magic seeds that grow giant when you throw 'em." He demonstrated this by taking one of his seeds out and threw it out on to the docks. it looked to be a blue seed lined with yellow stripes. The moment it hit the docks it sprung out in to a large creeping mass of seaweed like vines that strangled the docks and threatened to snap them and sink them to the briney deep.

He didn't know many on the crew, so this was a perfect opportunity to find out who was note worthy and worth writing about on the ship. "And, I don't think I caught your name. Or what you do yourself." he said while pointing double finger pistols at her.

Harley chuckled at the seeds that Elias fired against the rapidly vanishing docks and whistled at the damage they dealt. "Not bad, I see why Mashyuu picked you up for the crew. We don't have a marksman... really we don't have a ranged specialist and you seem to have options with the plants. Good to have you here. I'm... Oh you never did meet me did you? I'm Doctor Harley Ashes. Pirate name is Striker. Obviously I'm a doctor. The first one and this is the ship I primarily work on. I was a doctor in Mock Town, together Mashyuu and I took down a large mafia gang in the city and shortly after I joined his crew." Harley explained while looking out over the sea. "Don't worry about Mashyuu being closed off today. He's a little upset we left and haven't been able to help Yuurei yet. But he's trying to keep the others safe, and we have to come back to Jaya soon. We are still missing Dai and Gideon.... Our Merman Navigator and our Giant cook. Anyway, we have a long way to go... I'm gonna go get some sleep." Harley wandered off and headed to her room to catch some sleep until the crew made land.

Sky smirked at Madori, he was someone who played back and it was something to pass time at the very least. "Mmmm. No time for love? Who said anything about love? Lust is so much yuumier. Keep going in this direction. I'll be back in two hours to take over." She joked and sauntered off to do some ship work...

In his forge, Mashyuu stood around, taking stock of his inventory. He was running out of supplies and quick. He needed to get some more metals to work with so he didn't run out of his Skypiean Steel, water to help cool his metals was also needed along with clay to help curve and harden his blades. In his hand was a small clip board with items listed on it. While he was gathering all the other supplies he needed, he never got the items needed to continue crafting. ".... Damn it, I hope there are a few shops on this island at the very least. Hopefully nobody recognizes me there." He muttered and tossed the board down and wandered to his room.

A few days later, just when the Phantom Raiders were starting to give up hope, Harley shouted with joy and shock. "LOOK! SMALL ISLANDS WITH A BIG ONE AT IT'S CENTER!" She jumped up with joy and pointed out towards the islands. Sky pointed at the sails and pulled up on a lever to cause the Skycleaver to produce a blue mist. "Raise the sails, we are going to land between two smaller islands and contact the others!" Sky ordered.

Quickly Mashyuu started to raise a sail while expecting other crew members to help do the same with other sails. Eventually Sky steered the ship around a small cluster of islands and dropped anchor between two small islands with some taller, smooth mountain ranges to help hide the ship. Once it landed between the islands, Mashyuu picked up his den den and contacted Mistique to get his location and meet up with the others...

Madori continued to ride the sails just as instructed by Sky. The journey she led them on was a first for the young man. Never had he ever thought he'd get a chance to be on a magnificent boat such as this, but he'd even be able to drive it as well. There were some things worth living for, and now that he had the power he sought. Madori looked down to see Elias talking to the good Doctor. Madori believed his name was Striker. They really had a good crew. Mashyuu had disappeared to his forge, as any Blacksmith would be doing. And the Magma man stood proudly of his accomplishment.

Days passed by and Sojima took turns with Sky on directing the ship but it began to seem as if they would never find land. Until Skys eagle eyes peered into the distance and hailed to everyone there that she had spotted islands. Everyone rushed to see, and sure enough in the distance they could see what she saw. Jordsand. Madori came over to Mashyuu as he ordered the grunts to hail the sails. "We finally made it to Jordsand. You see that dark smoke in the background. I think its a volcano. I call that territory mine, natural habitat and all." Madori said with a flare of flames in his eyes.

He stood on the deck looked up to see the sails of the Phantom Raiders Jolly Roger. The island of Jordsand was about to be rocked. (Exit)

"Right! Harley. I've heard your name before. Nice to meet you officially now." He said while listening to what she said, the name, Yuurei, coming with bitterness to his ears.  He just folded his arms and went in to thought on the matter. He wanted to get Yuurei back, he felt like he failed the man.

He spent the next couple of days to himself for the most part, finding a secluded spot to work on his writings. He was focused on something other than his plants for the time being. Every so often, he would poke his head out and look to talk to Harley, or Madori, anyone really, just to get some human interaction and some information about them, Then, he was back in to his secluded area to go right back to writing.

When the day came that they would hit land, Elias finally came out and started talking to people regularly, addressing Madori first, "And if you burn a tree down, I'm going to show you what Sea stone can do to you. I still haven't fully forgiven you for PUNCHING A TREE OVER." And so ended Elias tales of Jaya, and now on to the next chapter, Jordsand!
