The sun was shining- beaming actually onto the skull of the giant Raider. The sand was hot under his hands but they acted as a reminder that he was really alive. Kahseh lifted his head up and gazed off into the distance seeing nothing but the sea, the clouds, and seagulls. The first thing he noticed was the pink water and already he knew where this was. Momoiro Island. "The Pink World" his father called. The oddness of the island wasn't on his mind, he had more important things to think about. "So what my father says is true? Am I an important piece? What is my destiny?" Of course these questions were simply thoughts, but the gods were surely listening. "Kahseh." the voice of a man he knew and trusted broke his quiz with the gods. The Raider turned around to see none other then Bunda, the man responsible for bringing them to this island with a ship that no longer existed. "Yo!" he responded as he turned to look upon the man.

"I can't find them. They must've died in that friggin' wave."

"Well..." Kahseh turned his head back towards the waves with a sigh. He pushed himself up before dusting his hands on his pants, and ridding the sand from his behind. "I don't believe that." He turned towards Bunda with a confident smirk. "We don't die that easily, Bunda." The balding man chuckled and nodded. Bunda's neck had a few obvious bruises and a knot above his right eye but he wasn't totally beat. Kahseh began walking towards his senior with a much wider grin. "Looks like the gods fucked you up, heheheheheheheheh!" The relationship the two had developed on their journey to this pink island consisted of friendly teasing, mostly because Kahseh was always making fun of him. What else was there to do when you were at sea for gods know how long.

"Ohoho! That may be true but still, even the son of Viking Lord Tristan Raider... cannot win in a fight against me." And to him that wasn't a joke. Nothing could be determined though considering they've never fought. Nevertheless Bunda was a true viking and in their little world he was a valued fighter.

"Guess we'll never know, old man."

The two laughed together as K took the lead and began walking into the wilderness. "I envy you, Kahseh. It seems the gods have wrapped their arms around you. Here you stand...without a single scratch on you. For fucks sake you even still have your weapons and battle gear, and here I am wearing this smelly cloak."

Kahseh rolled his eyes jokingly before lifting his hand and using his finger to scratch himself. "Oh shit, look at that... a scratch." With a sarcastic tone he snickered at himself. "You're alive, doesn't that mean the gods were protecting you too?" Bunda raised an eyebrow  and looked away, pondering on what his friend said. This island was a beautiful island, full of healthy trees and soil. It was quite the site to see and something bit different. He'd only been on a few voyages yet none of the other lands he's been too seemed to be this unreal. After about 20 minutes of silently pushing their way through the thick bundles of life Bunda began to grow restless.

"What exactly are we looking for? This whole island is full of pink everything and it's bad on my eyes."

"look..." The giant Raider hushed his partner with a whisper. In the distance a cloud of smoke could be seen above the trees beyond them. Both men turned to eat other with extremely large smiles, Bunda's more devilish than Kah's of course. "The gods, they're vouching for us young lord!"

"As much as I hate to come out of retirement, looks like we're going Viking today, haha!"

Another 20 minutes of walking...

Kahseh pushed aside a fe small trees and climbed over, Bunda following him but both of them coming to a halt when the spotted the village beneath them. It seemed they were on a hill which was perfect for Kah since he had his bow.

"Get down." He whispered to Bunda as he dropped. The duo laid on the ground and watched the people of the village live their lives. The village was small with not many civilians but it was enough to make this task complicated.

"Do you see any warriors? Any guards or anything?" Seastrong Bunda scanned the area. The Bronze toned viking scouted as well but after a few minutes could so no present fighters. Just men and woman carrying food and clothing back and forth. There were also kids running around, making this decision harder for the Raider. Viking was apart of who he was so everyone would have to die - it was tradition... but, Kahseh couldn't live with himself if he slaughtered helpless kids.

"I see no warriors, just regular people and kids. They've probably lived here in peace for so long they don't even so a point to raise warriors."

"Well if that's the case, let's do this right now-" Bunda began as he rushed to stand up. Kahseh grabbed his arm, restricting him from moving from his spot.

"No. As much as I want to get this over with, we can never be too sure. We'll wait until tonight. We don't know anything about this village, it's probably safer this way." The two kept their voices at a minimum.

"Err... alright."

"And Bunda..." K began, still keeping his eyes on the village.

"Hm?" The elder turned his head to face his partner.

"We leave the kids. Everyone else's fate has already been decided."

Bunda frowned as his eyes widened slightly. "What? We cannot, it is tradition to shed the blood of everyone aligned to the opposition. We can't ju-"

Kahseh's head snapped towards Bunda, his expression more serious than it's ever been these past few months."We CAN, and we will. I am your Lord, did you forget that, Seastrong Bunda?" Bunda's eyes met with K's, his frustration visible. After a short moment, the senior nodded slowly.

"No, my lord... I did not forget that." He responded angrily.

"Good."

Kahseh pushed himself back before handing when he was sure nobody would be able to see him. Bunda did the same and the two moved back a little deeper into the family of trees. Lambs and sheep were being cooked and man did it smell so good. The smell was familiar. Back at home that was all the meat they really ate along with buffalo and bears but Lamb was favored by most. It was saddening that these people would not live to eat swell another day but Kahseh knew what needed to be done for him. This was the only way for them to survive, they had to eat. Of course another option probably would have been to just go to the village and ask for some things that they needed but in all honesty he wanted it all. Everything they had should belong to the duo tonight.

"You get some rest Bunda, you deserve it. I'll wake you up when it's time.

Bunda didn't respond. Instead he leaned against a pink tree and turned away from his lord.

It's time...

"Yo.." Kahseh leaned over to mush his partner. Bunda was heavy sleeper so it took a while for him to respond but when he finally awakened he knew that it was about to go down.

"Finally." He whispered with a grin. Kahseh began to take off his jacket. It was red and probably would be bright enough for people to spot. Under his cloak was a black skin-tight shirt which would make this Viking much easier for the both of them. With a nod he picked up his bow and began moving downhill, Bunda following him cautiously, making sure to scout his surroundings for any incoming danger. It didn't take the two long to reach the village but when they did they realized that it was completely. Quiet. The moon was vibrant, seemingly shining directly on the village. It was almost as if the gods were purposely providing them with enough light to successfully do what they came here for. The entire village reeked of fish but it wasn't such a big deal. The soil beneath Kah and Seastrong's feet kept their movement silent but something wasn't right. Suddenly the tall Raider lifted his hand, halting his partner right in his tracks.

"You see something?" Bunda asked eagerly. Kah refused to respond just yet though. His eyes watched the ground but he focused on his ears then after a moment turned to his left to see a man seemingly guarding the village. He wasn't doing his job very well considering he only watched the ocean beyond him. Swiflty, Kahseh drew his bow and arrow, holding it directly at the space the man was occupying. He was singing and gods did he have a marvelous voice. For a moment Kahseh allowed him to continue singing, he was very much enjoying this little show but in the span of a second the man snapped his head towards the two of them. They were spotted.

"Hey! Who's-" The man began- or at least it looked like a man. Quickly enough Kah released his arrow and it hit the man directly in the middle of his chest before he could finish his sentence. There is where he died.

"So they have warriors after all."  It was absolutely quiet for a moment. "Here, take this. Kahseh, then handed Bunda his stolen knightly sword. "We'll split up from. You go search this village and count every man outside right now. I'll start raiding homes." Bunda nodded happily. All he really wanted to do was kill people he held no loyalty to. It was one of his favorite things to do. Who could blame him? It was how he was raised, it was something he took pride in even if people didn't understand it. In a few seconds the navigator moved from his Lord and Kahseh ran towards the home that the man was by. He prayed and hoped that this home didn't have any children in it, he would hate to see their faces as he stole their families lives. When the Raider arrived to the door of the home he simply kicked it open with another bow already ready to kill. The homes were made of cheap material, most likely from the tropic trees that lived around them which weren't very durable at all.

Once he kicked the door open only a few meters away, a woman jumped up out of her sleep and could only glimpse at him as he released the bow. It tore through her skull, Immediately killing her. Quickly he hurting to retrieve the bow, keeping an eye out for anyone else that may be in her home. There was no-one else though, luckily for him. Once he was sure that she was alone, he began digging through all of her belongings, taking jewelry, money and anything else that may have been of value to him. She had no weapons or much food so he left after a minute or two. He was in rush so it was important that he move quickly but he was also alone so it was even more important that he move silently.

After he was done with her home, he moved on to the next. Another home, much smaller was about ten meters away and again he kicked the door open. This time it was an entire family. The irony. As soon as he kicked the door down a boy began screaming, waking his mother and his father up out of their sleep. "Dammit, shut up boy!" he demanded as he quickly placed another arrow in his bow. The boy was in a bed between his parents, both staring at Kahseh with fear in their eyes. He was probably the biggest person they'd ever seen but it was no secret that they were going to die. The boy wouldn't stop screaming though... he just kept going and going. No doubt both Bunda and Kahseh's cover would be blown if he continued with his annoying little voice at this point. Fuck it, he thought. There was no hiding now. "Shut up kid!" Kahseh aimed his bow at the boy but his mother was quick to hug her son, trying her hardest to hush him. "P-please, d-don't kill my son or my wife, p-please, I beg you." But the boy just wouldn't shut up. A few more moments of his crying and screaming and people would definitely begin to catch on to what was happening. "Just tell your fuckin' kid to shut his mouth and he won't have to die." Kahseh stated. He wasn't lying, that wasn't something he did often if not at all.

"Lukey boy, hush, hush it's okay, stop crying."

K looked glanced behind him through the space where the door once was, just to make sure nobody was coming. When he tuned to face the family again he realized that the boy was still wailing, and loudly too. The father was still trying to calm his son down but it wasn't working. The only option left was to kill the boy at this point. It was the only way to make this raid a success. Kahseh clenched his jaw and began breathing heavily as he grew anxious. It had to be done.

Just when the Raider was about to pull the string a figure darted into the home, jumped on the bed and pierced the boy right in his rib with a sword. Kahseh's eyes widened in surprise. It all happened so quick , he hardly had any time to think. The father began to cry out in agony instantly. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" he shouted. Bunda then ripped the sword out of the boy and sliced the saddened fathers head clean off. The mother trembled in shock. She was silent for a split second so before she could even start crying out in agony, Kah aimed his bow at her and released an arrow, killing her with a strike to the heart.

Bunda jumped off of the bed and dropped and tossed the young Raider a leather duffle bag. It smelled freshly made and would come in handy for the rest of the business that had to be done. The middle-aged man had a bag on his shoulder, already full with valuable items and food. He wasted no time in ravaging the things that once belonged to the family him and K murdered. The navigator not once stopped to think about the family that was killed. Why would he? This is what they came here to do. It was odd though. Kah knew Bunda didn't care about anybody who didn't come from where they came from but to actually see that he could act as if nothing just happened was crazy. How could one kill a harmless kid with no remorse? Granted he helped their situation but he didn't even feel bad about what he just did. Kahseh watched only for a second as his senior gathered anything that looked valuable. Jewelry, food, and weapons. Those were the only things they needed. Bunda moved about the home while Kah on the other hand watched, still in shock that he himself nearly killed a kid. Deep down he was happy he wasn't the one that did it. Still, he felt a little bad that it happened. The boy's body laid lifeless in his dead mothers arms while the father laid lifeless beside them.

"There are a total of 13 houses. So far I've managed to raid 5, they hardly had anything at all. These people weren't very wealthy country folk. I counted only half a dozen men patrolling the village before I heard the boy screaming. I'm sure they heard him as well so let's finish th-"

"I thought I told you not to kill any children." The Raider spoke in a frustrated manner. Bunda stopped just behind Kahseh, facing the door and getting ready to leave. Kah paid little attention to the information he was given because instead he was focused on Bunda disobeying a direct order. Kah faced the family still, speaking with his back facing Bunda's back. They had different points of view in both a metaphorical sense and a literal sense.

"I did what needed to be done. With all due respect Lord Kahseh It looked like you were going to kill the boy yourself. Did you wish to be his murderer instead?" Bunda's tone was cold. Kah remained silent. The navigator wasn't wrong at all, but K's point was that an order was an order. "I told you not to murder any children. I didn't ask for you to do what you did. Have you not sworn your loyalty to the Raiders?" Bunda's teeth grinder against each other as he refrained from disrespecting his younger superior. "I did." Bunda walked out and stood, waiting for K who came seconds after.

"I think the screams came from over here!"

The few fighters this village had were making their way over to where Kahseh was. The tall young man looked at his navigator to see a large grin on his face. "We can fight and hope that the gods truly do favor us and keep us alive." Kah glanced down at the bag full of bell and items on his shoulder then glanced at Bunda's bag which happened to be even bigger. "It's what your father would do." Kahseh frowned at Bunda. So far he was really hitting some big nerves. "No. We have enough, we leave now. We stay any longer we'll die unless the gods magically make these men lose their weapons or something. Let's go." With that the duo ran towards they way they first came, climbing back up the hill they came from and going back to their spot to retrieve Kah's cloak. They swiftly moved through the wilderness after.
