Invention Name: Alkaline Bial
Invention Class: D
Invention Description: A concentrated bial that is stewed within Gil's gall bladder, using his knowledge of his own anatomy and self experimentation, he uses a specialised diet and intense body manipulation to get it to a dangerous level. Milky yellow-green in colour, it dissolves in water easily. Gil has found a way to contort his body so that he is able to spit it up on command without harming himself.
Crafting Points: 10
Invention Capabilities: This bial eats away at biological material, inflicting moderate wounds on non-pri endurance and minor wounds on tertiary endurance. If wounds are already present, the bial will eat away at them, increasing the damage by one tier up to a cap of severe damage on tertiary endurance and below.


Invention Name: D. Ansgameoli
Invention Class: D
Invention Description: A culture of microbes grown in Gil's gut. They were harvested from a seaking and found to provide repairing services to their host in exchange for a home. Although it is unclear what processes drive their behaviour exactly, Gil has divined that they are sensitive to the worsening condition of their host and respond immediately. They provide aid by slowly rebuilding tissue and removing unwanted substances from the body. Due to the microscopic size they can't be seen, however a large cluster of them will show them to have a bluish turquoise hue.
Crafting Points: 10
Invention Capabilities: When in contact with an organism, the microbes begin repairing its wounds, reducing them by one tier every two posts. They are only potent enough to repair up to two areas of the body at a time (as described in the buso haki rules). They cannot repair fatal wounds.


Invention Name: Sleeping Beauty
Invention Class: D
Invention Description: A liquid concoction brewed in Gil's gut. He has invasively altered his system so that he can mature and store the liquid without absorbing it himself. From a decomposed type of seaweed usually ingested by bearsharks to induce hibernation, Gil has created a liquid that causes paralytic effects that mimic death itself.
Crafting Points: 10
Invention Capabilities: After entering a biological system, it requires one post to spread through the body before it paralyses the body for one post. If the body isn't actively resisting it, the effects can go on for days. This paralysis is special in that it mimics all the signs of death, including lack of pulse, breathing and reaction to stimuli. In actual fact the heart is still beating and respiration is still occurring, but at 100 times less than usual making it unnoticeable. This is possible due to the body's needs reducing significantly when in this paralytic state. While in this state, the body is still conscious and is sensitive to stimuli. Secondary endurance can shrug off the effects immediately.

Due to this being a class D invention made by the basic of basic inventors(stage 1 out of 4). I would say that the damage should be based endurance. Minor wounds on Non prio endurance and maybe moderate wound on open wounds.

It's a beginner invention, so I would make note that alone it can't heal a fatal wounds and take 3 turns for moderate wounds. And that it only works once before a new batch needs to be administered. Make these seaking microbes a bit nooby at first.

Other than that it's fine, as its it liquid that has to be ingested correct? Still want a mention of endurance though v.v

Minor wounds are pretty much ignorable as stated by the combat rules. We're talking about one rank of damage here. Making it only work on non pri endurance makes this invention useless to me.

I restricted the fatal wounds. The nerfs are too much tho imo.

Honestly, this sounds more like a skill to me than an invention. You're not 'creating' anything, you're manipulating your own bodily functions to change the acidity of the bile. But that's another discussion, and if someone wants to call you on it, they will.

As a Class D invention though, this isn't going to be something that inflicts minor damage across the board. It's going to be limited in what it does, so while minor damage is fine, that's only because it's going to be something that's non-prioritized, maybe tertiary, Strength & Power. I'm fine with it increasing wounds that are already there up a level, capping at Major to Severe, but beyond that, it's going to need to be limited.

I think this is super creative, and I love the idea of some amount of regeneration beyond that of a logia-user. Personally, I'm fine with the damage reduction happening every two posts, but it can't be a full-body cure-all. They should be limited similar to haki, in that you can only use them on up to two limbs (or a limb and chest or whatever) at a time. I am, however, down with you moving them freely, so if you want to reduce a major wound and then move them to another limb, fine, but definitely not a full body regen right from the getgo. It is a class D invention, after all, and them being living organisms doesn't bypass that.

One post activation time, one post duration. It going on for days if accepted makes it useful in a story setting, and less useful in a combat setting, which is perfectly fine to me. But again, it needs to have a level of Strength & Power paired with it, because poisons are resisted through endurance.

Invention Name: Blueblack Plague Shots
Invention Class: C
Invention Description: A metal ball similar to a cannon ball. It has a timer attached which can be set. When the timer goes off, the ball opens and releases a gas. This gas is an airborne virus.
Crafting Points: 15
Invention Capabilities: 1 invention = 5 balls. The metal contraption is relatively simple and needs a scientist of D rank to create. The balls can be shot out of a cannon without harm. The virus is the complicated part and requires a doctor of C rank to create. When released, it spreads to the air 10m around the ball. When breathed in, the virus infects the body. At first it exhibits symptoms of a common cold, using the coughing and sneezing to spread the extremely infectious virus to other people. After a week IC, the infected's organs will expand and rupture. Blue and black spotty skin colour can be seen as the internal bleeding becomes noticeable. Those with <3 endurance will die from the internal injuries, 3-4 endurance will suffer major level organ damage and internal bleeding. Those with 5 or more endurance will have surface level blue and black spots on their skin that are a little bit sore but otherwise ineffective. A C rank doctor can cure the infection once they research the plague.

Is this a week IRL. Could you put this in posts or even thread amount rather than IRL time, I think thats a better system than someone being unable to post for a week only to come back an dbe like "Lol fool you dead" ya get what I mean?

I say give them an option of a recovery topic from a doctor of the appropriate Rank or maybe out for a few posts but I agree with Mel, the IRL implications is a bit much.

O yea, I meant for it to be a week IC time. That means that if the topic where someone gets infected lasts a month but only spans 1 day IC then theyre fine as long as they start the treatment topic after it ends. Hopefully it is fine with that specified. I understand that this means that a PC could use fluid time to delay their treatment until they get a set timeline and that's fine by me.

Invention Name: Chem-terror Dial
Invention Class: C
Invention Description: A dial made to fill an area with chemicals to control large numbers of personnel and inflict terror. A palm sized shell with a central knob to set time and holes to release gas.
Crafting Points: 15
Invention Capabilities: Requiring both a doctor and a dial-specialist capable of creating C rank inventions, the chem-terror dial is reasonably complex on both ends. On the dial end, a timer can be set for it to go off up to 2 days after it is set. It's gas distribution methods are efficient for it to fill an area of 30m radius for up to 6 hours or 7 posts (whichever comes first), before it runs out of its contents. On the chemical end, it is filled with a chemical drug that irritates the sensory organs of organisms and causes intense cramping and convulsions. 4 endurance is enough to be exposed to the gas and still have control of your body for the most part. 5 endurance lets you ignore the gas other than tingly feelings and runny eyes and nose. The chemical can be refilled or replaced with something else if someone with the appropriate occupation does so.
