This thread basically stems from all the stuff we discussed in the discord. Just posting it so we can keep track and have more input. Key things that were mentioned:

• Everyone starting from scratch
  
• Death tax
  
• Continued characters and starting slots
  
• Staff being in the same page
  

Basically some of the major questions are do continued characters who aren’t revamping count towards starting slots? There has been a disceprency between staff and members and we just wanna clear it up. We also discussed having everyone start from zero and a few folks think it’s a good idea but that’s something that everyone should have input on. If anyone has anything else to add go ahead.

• Death tax Things have been said about the Death Tax, but this will be the official ruling: Death Tax is Null on Revamping Characters. meaning you can retain up to all of your possessions, belt, etc.
  
• Continued characters and starting slots If a character is being continued, even if they got their special item or Will of D. from a starting slot before, it will not occupy a spot. So even if there were two pre-existing Will of D.s for pirates previously, in the present there can now be two more, so on so forth. This also applies to Devil Fruits and Meito.

• There are out-standing unspecified Meito which have been causing a bit of confusion. In regards to that, until the outstanding Meito are given/claim names or are given custom ones, anything listed as unclaimed on the list is up for grabs. More names can be made if need be.

The staff thing was just about some differing information we were receiving about revamping, starting slots and so on. The answers you gave clear everything up though so I figure most people will be good from here on out.

I guess the only thing left is to see how people feel about starting everything from 0.

To start this off I guess, I'm going to say that I'm in the camp of the few who are against starting from scratch. I love the character I've created and right now I'm invested in where he is atm. When they do the official reboot on proboards, I will probably need to create him all over again but until then I'd like to stay where I'm at.

I don't think there's any purpose in a full reset here. Beli isn't hard to get. You rob a person who revamped but has a weak character restricted by Prestige. Or you do Bounties as a marine. There needs to be something enticing about a full reset. Random reset does nothing and won't help you.

Yeah truth be told my new character is hella new like i haven't used him at all new. We all worked hard for are characters. But seeing as we starting in few places the big bad people might pick on the Little guys

+1 on cleaning up the discord. Better looking like a small but active community than a big but mostly inactive one to someone new who joins the discord.
