The warm ocean air greeted his face as he awoke on the deck of his ship. his vision was slightly hazy at first and then slowly began to clear up oh yes it was another beautiful day. His ship had arrived late last night to the greenie pass side of Lulusia kingdom Late last night. After anchoring off at a dock he passed out onto the deck from exhaustion. He yawned loudly and cracked his neck to the side and what he saw him dazzled him. A lush plain of trees and grass was before him. His eyes widened in surprise he had never seen so much green in all his life.

It was breathtaking to him. His mind drifted off to his friends he had lost o many years ago. He wanted to show them this beautiful landscape one day. He cracked his fingers individually as he cleared his throat and proceeded to the inside of his ship. He would proceed to get cleaned up and then head out to explore bringing along the dials he had recently acquired. This lush and fertile countryside area. He placed leather gloves on his hands as his left arm was mechanical and he thought it would be a little odd if a man only wore one glove.

He put on his trademark conical straw hat with small ornamental torques and tassels hanging down over his face and a black cloak with a chin-high collar with red clouds on it. He looked himself over and nodded his head approvingly as he attached Yubashiri to his left side hip and proceeded to disembark from his ship. He had never been in a forest before and was most curious to explore it. He smiled as he proceeded off the docks and follow a long path which leads towards a large forest path. He hummed quietly to himself as he walked along the path. It felt strange with this left arm of his he would feel the movements just like it was his old arm.

The scientist had followed his specifications exactly. He was glad he ran into that scientist. Now he could full fight again and not only that his left arm was now stronger his regular but just as durable. He licked his lips from beneath the veil of tassels as he stopped in his tracks as he listened to the forest. He could hear the sound of fresh water running from afar. his ears twitched and he slowly began to make his way through the wooded area Yubashiri clinging at his side as he traversed through bushes and fallen sticks. The scent of pine evident in the air as he found it at last. Water appeared to be a waterfall that created a small pool which then led down t long river. He yawned and cracked his neck to the side and smirked as he saw a deer drinking from across the other side of the river. It was quiet there were flowers sprouted from the earth of all different colors and breeds.

He sighed as he made his way towards the base of the waterfall and found cavern on the other side of it. It would make for a decent hiding area if things got rough on this island. He placed his gloved hand along the cave wall and peered slowly inside. It was dark but the tunnel seemed to go on and on into the darkness curiosity was not a sin but it had its consequences. He sighed as he moved away from the waterfall and took a seat by the shadow of a nearby oak tree and propped Yubashiri on his thighs and merely sat there and slowly closed his eyes and listened to the peaceful sound of nature.

Yuurei
The Greenie Pass was one of the areas of this island that weren’t protected from the Queen’s forces. It sucked that this was true, but it was a reality in the making. The scientist knew this well and he had been traveling through these areas for quite some time now. He had been dealing with a bunch of bandits, and pirates alike through these parts. Yuurei had made his way into a town that was nearby from the forest. When he had gotten there, he decided to relax a bit, or at least that was the case. Yuurei would bring himself to a nearby tavern, and enjoy himself one drink before things would go south. It seemed like there were pirates that were in this town and they were acting like they own this place. The people of this town were terrified by this, but they couldn’t do anything about this.

Yuurei would be the one to step in, and it was his job to do so. These were pirates and taking them out and bringing them to the marines would be for their best interest. The man with the swords would get up from his seat and he would tap the shoulder of one of the pirates that were harassing one of the locals in the tavern. The pirate would turn around slowly and annoyed that he was interrupted while yelling at what he thought was a scumbag.

”What the fuck do you want? Can’t you see that I’m giving this man a piece of my mind.” He said to Yuurei.

The group he was with had turned to look at Yuurei to see what was going to happen. It wasn’t just that, but they were trying to see who this guy was.

”Now who the fuck do you think ya talking to? You must not know who I am, so I will give ya an idea.” He said to the man as his right hand had thrust upward and forward as it had landed on the man’s abdomen.

The pirate was shocked by the sudden blow that landed on his stomach. He felt as if time had frozen as he couldn’t breathe for a few seconds. His legs gave out, which caused him to fall onto his knees and soon after on his stomach unconscious. Yuurei looked at the other guys that were surrounding him as he took out D. Jiyuu as they hesitated for a second as they didn’t know what to do right now. At this point, the townsfolks had moved away from the group of people. Yuurei had a smile on his face as he had given the group of men a thumbs down.
Finding the unknown (Voyage) 0e2470a2c9cdea6d8ca3e0f8a0997aa9
”You guys are messing with the wrong island. Ya think ya safe from the Marines here? Well, I guess ya would be, but what about a Shichibukai?” He said to them.

It was then when one of the guys in the group had realized who this man was. His eyes widen when he noticed that the new appointed Shichibukai was in this tavern.

”It’s the new Shichibukai, Yuurei, run you, idiots, if you care for your life!” He shouted as he turned around and started running out of the tavern.

They heard their companion’s words, but at this point, it was too late. Yuurei had made his move as he had dashed forward and knocked them all out with the back of D. Jiyuu. They couldn’t move fast enough to avoid Yuurei’s speed, but it was because he had slowed them down for a few seconds. He was by the exit of the tavern now as they had all dropped to the floor.

”Hey guys can ya do me a favor? Can ya tie all of these fools until I come back? There is one more dumbass I got to capture.” He said to them as they nodded agreeing they would do that for him.

Yuurei was on pest control and he was going to go exterminate a pirate right now. The scientist started running out of the tavern as he had activated his Observation the moment that guy had rushed out of the Tavern.

”Hn ha ha ha ha ha hn.” He laughed because the man was running towards the forest.

Yuurei crunched his toes and soon enough he was hovering in the air. The man started moving forward quickly as he was chasing after the pirate who thought he was safe from him. After a few minutes, Yuurei would enter the forest, and he was also closing the distance between him and the pirates. The pirate heard something coming from behind him, and when he looked behind him he noticed that it was Yuurei who was gaining on him.

”Leave me alone! I promise I won’t cause any trouble Yuurei!” He shouted out loud as he continued to run for his life.

Yuurei was enjoying the chase right now as he had him where he wanted. It wouldn’t take long for the two of them to reach a clearing within the forest. There was a waterfall there, but there was also another person here. The scientist had known this presence as he had felt it many times before in his travel. It caused him to slow down as he had looked in the direction where the humanoid signature was located. He had a grin on his face with what he had seen right now; the pirate kept running for his life as Yuurei had come to a complete stop. The pirate was safe, or was he? Yuurei had used his gravity pull to give D. Jiyuu a gravitational pull and it only affected the pirate. The pirate would feel himself being forced to move back in the direction he was coming from and soon enough he noticed that he was moving back to Yuurei.

Soon enough Yuurei would swing his blade on the back of the pirate’s neck as it was an attack that he couldn’t avoid. The person that Yuurei had seen was none other than Daimaru; his eyes peered around to see if he still had that sword with him, which he did. It brought Yuurei’s free hand to twitch as it did in the past when the two met.

”Dai...Ma…Ru.” It was the only thing he said as he wondered how he would react with bumping into Yuurei in this part of Lulusia.

Dai was feeling for once at peace. The sound of the water rushing over the falls and trickling into the pool which made its way to the stream bed. It was relaxing. This was his first time in a forested area and honestly, he could now see the appeal of the surface world a bit more clearly. He quirked a brow as he could hear a ruckus slowly coming towards him to slightly sour his peaceful meditation. He heard a male voice yell out ”Leave me alone! I promise I won’t cause any trouble Yuurei!” The gears in his brain slowly began to turn as the name rattled about in his head. His heart slowly began to beat faster as hope and joy began to pump through him.

He mumbled as he slowly lifted his nodding head "could it actually be Him?!" He remained quiet as he stayed upon the ground. He heard a sudden sound as something fell to the ground and then there was an odd air of silence. The scent of freshly spilled blood poured into his nostrils. His eyes dilating slightly as the scent reached the primitive shark part of his brain. His mouth began to salivate. He shook his head as he then heard the voice of his old friend say his name.

However, the joy he felt slowly began to change. Something was off with the tone from his old friend. A bead of sweat from fear dripped down along his back. his right hand instinctively reached for Yubashiri. Dangerous was his old friend. His hairs on the back of his neck stood up on edge. He was glad his friend was alive and well and had seemed to have escaped from his execution. He flicked his tongue behind his teeth and merely stared off in the direction of Yuurei. He took a calming breath however the hairs on the back of his neck still stood up.

Yuurei would looked towards Daimaru as he could see that he was reaching for his blade. It seemed like he was kind of understanding the situation he was in, which was good. He wasn’t sure what had happened to him since they departed, but he did noticed that the fishman was not all himself. He could see that one of his arms were modified or might have been attached to him by someone else. I wondered what happened to this shark?[i][i] He thought to himself as he wondered what his friend was going to do at this moment. His left hand twitched once again as he looked at Yubashiri, and he did his best to contain himself for the time being. He heard what Daimaru had said, which caused him to chuckle a bit from his words. He was right on that as this man was one of the few people he wasn’t happy with.

The scientist took one step forward, and stopped when Daimaru spoke again. He heard what he had to say and nodded because it seemed like he knew very well that he wasn’t happy with him, or Mashyuu. He had dealt with Gideon, and they had made amends as they were once again in a crew together. Then his head tilted as he looked at Daimaru confused about the killing part; he wasn’t going to kill his old crewmate. He did, however, wanted to make him feel exactly how he felt these last couple of months. As for the sword, Yuurei wanted to claim that sword so badly, but he choose that Daimaru was worthy of it, so he let the thought go away for now. He sheathed his blade for now as he wanted to hear the excuses that Daimaru would give him.

Yuurei watched the man take off his cloak, along with the gloves he was wearing. He could see the scar on his arm, which indicated that he indeed lost an arm like he assumed from the beginning. He started talking about what happened to him and his reason for not showing up to the execution, but the thing is the problem had been deeper than that. It wasn’t just the no help from the time of his execution, but there was also the time where he called for backup and nobody had appeared to help. Still, he continued to listen to him as his face expression didn’t change even after he took a pause. It seems like little sharky over here had it bad himself. Gideon was in a battle with the marines in Jaya after all. I guess the big guy wasn’t lying after all.[i][i] He thought to himself as he had time to do so.

Then, he heard Daimaru speaking once again and he looked at him as he heard what he had to say and he finally quiet down. Yuurei took another step forward after he was stretching his arms behind his head as he was looking at his former crewmate.

”I see, so Gideon was telling the truth about the marines in Jaya, poor guy had it rough. I guess they made their moves on that island. It was about damn time those sneaky bastards.” He paused for a second as he had given Daimaru an evil smile.

”I don’t think you are lying Daimaru about wanting to come help me when you heard about my execution, amongst others, happening, but that isn’t the only reason why I’m upset with you and Mashyuu.” He said this to Daimaru.

Yuurei had moved his left hand amongst the four blades that he had on the right side of his sash and stopped on one blade in particular. The swordsman slowly unsheathed one of the blades there as he pulled out Nidai Kitetsu as he pointed the blade at his former crew member.

”I had called for backup that faithful day in Jaya. I remember because I was hoping you guys would show up, but that wasn’t the case I was attacked by a man, and soon enough the man that I was after woke up and things had gone downhill from there. I was sent to Impel Down, but that wasn’t event he worse thing that happened. One person didn’t make it alive as Koneko had been the one to die because you guys didn’t show up on time. I don’t want to kill you because I’m leaving that for two people, but I don’t want to have you experience the suffering I have experience.” He said as he looked at Daimaru’s fake arm.

”That is what I wanted to do, but it seems like you have suffered a lot from the loss of that arm. I wondered how you got hit by a stray cannonball. Were you being careless? Did you let you anger and bloodlust blind you from what was around you? Tell me Daimaru do you know where our old captain is? He needs to know that I’m coming for him since I been appointed Shichibukai.” Yuurei said with a smile on his face as he hoped that Daimaru knew the whereabouts of Mashyuu.

Perhaps his body was telling him something that his mind did not know already. He knew he had let Yuurei down by not showing up to his execution to try and rescue him. However, he had valid reasoning behind it. He had just lost his arm and he was rendered unconscious for some time. Then there was the adjustment period he had just finished finishing with the new cybernetic left arm. He held his positioning and merely looked over at Yuurei. His voice was somewhat a mixture of anxiety and joy as he spoke. "As much as I am so happy to see you again my old friend, I am somewhat fearful of your sudden appearance."

His right hand still gripped the handle of Yubashiri instinctively not know how his old friend would react. "I know we have a lot to catch up on and I am sure you have some unresolved feelings of anger towards me." He gulped nervously however yet he stood his ground bravely before his old friend. " I am sure you most certainly would like to kill me and take my sword which is, of course, understandable but allows me to speak before any judgments are made." He paused briefly as he slowly released his grip upon yubashiri.

He kept his arms up in a non-threatening manner as he unfastened his cloak and placed it to the ground. Placing his hat atop of it and removing his right glove then finally his left glove. Sunlight peered through the trees as it hit his pristine new arm. " I tried to get to the execution, but as I was leaving Jaya the marines bombed it, Gideon and I fought as best as we could against them I cut through a marine ship before I made my escape, I got my arm blown off by a stray cannonball. I made it off Jaya me and Gideon were supposed to meet on baltigo but I lost consciousness for some time and by the time I was fit the execution was over. I was lost for some time with the loss of my arm and you and Gideon, I became a shell of my former self much worse than back at water seven with that Incident where i found one of my friends."

He sighed as he took a brief pause. He had spoken from his heart the complete and utter truth. There was no hint of deceit with his words as he continued on "I have been searching for him and you praying that you both were alive it seems we are all that remains left of the old phantom raider pirates. You must believe me when I say I tried everything within my power to get to you I have never lied to you and you know i wouldn't abandon a friend in jeopardy if I couldn't help it."

Yuurei
Yuurei listened to Daimaru’s story about what the Marines had done. He knew the Marines weren’t good and he didn’t like them already, but hearing what he had said didn’t change the position he was in. He worked for the World Government, so what they did really didn’t concern him. He was surprised about what Daimaru had said about his captain. His eyes widen and his mouth could only open to a smile when he heard the man’s words. It was music to his ears to hear that man say things like that about Mashyuu. He didn’t think Mashyuu was good as a captain towards the end their run, but he was surprised the first person who had ever joined Mashyuu would say these words.

”Hn ha ha ha ha ha hn.” He could only laugh to those words because it was not something he expected from this man.

Still, as he relaxed he could see the anger that was expressed on Daimaru’s face. He knew very well how easy it was to anger this man, and this was icing on the cake. It was interesting to see Yubashiri being pulled out, which caught Yuurei’s eyes. That sword had been forged better than it was before; he knew that because of the details and he did the same to his EgeKing. His mouth opened a little bit as he drooled from the sight of that sword. He contained himself, however, as he wasn’t trying to pull that weapon away from Daimaru. He would only take that sword from him if he gave it to him, or he was sent to prison. A bit of the saliva would fall to the ground before he wiped his mouth with his free hand as he was kept his eyes on Daimaru.

The swordsman heard his explanation to why he hadn’t shown up to his rescue. He heard this excuse in more detail than he did from Gideon. He brushed his hair back as he didn’t care whose fault it was, if Mashyuu ordered them not to go, then they should have defied his order and had rushed over anyways. Those words had angered him as he had a face of annoyance written all over his face. He still had to visit Mashyuu and make that man pay for not ordering the crew to make a move to rescue him. It was as if he was trying to punish him for being who he was. He laughed again when he heard how he had gotten hit by the cannonball.

”Hn ha ha ha ha ha hn.” He couldn’t believe it was Gideon’s fault for this man losing his arm.

It was both of their faults for the loss of their arm, but it seemed that Daimaru found someone to replace his missing arm. Yuurei heard the rest of what he had to say and could only keep his sword pointed towards Daimaru.

”Where do we stand you ask? Well, what if I say I want to beat you to a pulp. I don’t truly blame you for my capture, but I wished you guys were there because Koneko may have still been alive. So, where do we stand Daimaru? Let’s fight, and I will tell you where we stand. If there was one thing good from all of this was the fact that I had gotten stronger because of where I was located, the fight for my life was also a testament to how I surpassed my limit. I want to show you the fruit of my power due to the crew leaving me behind and to rot. If you had defied Mashyuu you wouldn’t have lost your arm.” He said as he figured he would play around with Daimaru.

It was in this instant that Yuurei had moved forward at a quick speed. It was one that Daimaru would barely be able to follow. He would see a blurry man at this point heading to him and Yuurei swing down Nidai Kitetsu attempting to hit Daimaru’s right shoulder. Yuurei, of course, held back on his power as he didn’t want to kill the man, but enough to deal moderate damage to this man. He wanted to see what he could do and that new arm could do right now.

Dai continued holding his ground as he watched closely Yuureis body language. He noticed the smile upon Yuureis face as he had said those negative comments about Mashyuu. Good, he was slowly getting Yuurei into a better mood it seemed. He shifted his hands to the right tilting the blade of its to the flat end as it would move into a side defensive positions the blade maintaining his earlier defensive position only slightly altered as it was a few inches away from his chest.

To be precise it would be about 4 inches away. He was not going to risk chipping the blade in case this fight was to proceed. Against another O-Wazemono blade, it would not take long for the blade to be damaged.Once again Yuurei laughed at him as he explained on how exactly he lost his arm. His grip remained firm almost as if rigor mortis had set into his hands. Yuurei thought it was funny that he lost his arm huh. Well, we'll just see how funny it would be once Yuurei himself lost an appendage. His eyes however widened in shock as Yuurei spoke and he listened to him exclaim he was still going to beat him into a pulp. He sighed sadly as he heard him explain the fate of Koneko. It was truly a shame that they had lost there shipwright she was a wonderfully kind woman and she would be dearly missed.

It was at this moment his warrior's instinct returned and his bladed crackled with electricity. This would be the first time he would be using the blades new enhanced ability. However, as the blade crackled to life with the lightning Mashyuu decided to try and attack him from above his right shoulder. His sword made contact with Mashyuu's as he had previously moved it. The two blades connecting as he felt the powerful kinetic force. He was pushed back by the force of it by a meter. So this was Mashyuus power or perhaps maybe a percentage of it.

He couldn't be sure but he doubted they would allow a person to be a warlord with that much power. He was unsure if the lightning would effect Yuurei but he would wait and see. After the initial strike though he looked over at Yuurei. He moved his robotic hand at its full speed and reached behind him and pulled out a red conical shaped dial. There was an honest look of regret on his face and genuine sadness. His voice was somewhat pained but in a way, it had understanding in it. "I know I deserve this beating hell I deserve worse for leaving you and Koneko behind, But I will not fault my actions you know I was a loyal crew member to mashyuu and always followed the orders of my captain, So if you want to beat me into a mess go ahead but I'm not going to make easy for you that goes against my code as a swordsman."

His thumb hovered over the trigger of the dial ready to push it the moment Yuurei would proceed to move towards him. Once Yuurei would be either in front of him he would push his thumb down upon the dial and expel the flames should he get within striking range of him again. Sure it would probably be ineffective against Yuurei but he had a plan. Once the flames were expelled he would unleash his new flying slash attack and combine it with the flames giving his attack increased power. If that combo didn't work then Yuurei would indeed have truly become a monster.

Yuurei
Yuurei would swing his sword and he could see that Daimaru had been moving his blade towards where his blade was going down. That was impressive, and he could only smile when the swords collided. The swordsman could see that Daimaru had been pushed away, which meant that in comparison to strength he had the upper hand. He knew that already though, and it was why he held back. He could have easily broken against his friend’s sword with the shift of his looks and the increase of gravity power intake into his body. He chose not to do that, however as he watched Daimaru take out what looked like a red dial. ”So, he has one as well. That’s nice to see that Gideon and I aren’t the only ones to acquire one of them.” He thought to himself as he could see that his friend wasn’t happy with what was happening right now.

The swordsman heard what he had said about taking orders from his captain and that he was loyal. That part angered him within, and it boiled his blood more than anything. Daimaru’s mouth was getting him into a deeper hole, which brought Yuurei to pull out another sword out of frustration. The man had taken out EgeKing, the golden blade of royalty. He was gripping the handle hard but sighed to relieve himself from this anger as he looked at Daimaru.

”You don’t get to say Koneko’s name. Hell, you think you can say you were loyal is foolish. We are all one crew we all help each other. If the captain said something, but you know it’s the wrong thing to do you question it! If you were the one in trouble, and Mashyuu told me not to go, do you think I would listen?! I was the First Mate I would have punched sense into him and told him that we are going with or without him!” He shouted as he wanted to see what he would say next to get him angry.

Yuurei would attack alright, but first things first, his gravity would expand all around the two. Daimaru would become heavier and his speed would be slower than he possibly ever felt before [-3]. He didn’t think he would use his devil fruit abilities on Daimaru, but the Fishman had annoyed him. Yuurei would crunch his feet activating his hover flats and no longer be on the ground. He would move forward as fast as he could [5] and when he got close to Daimaru moved towards his side instead of being in front and swung Nidai Kitetsu towards the man’s face [6] and avoiding the flame dial flying slash. Of course, he wasn’t using his full power on Daimaru because he knew that if he had, then he would have been eating shark tonight. Still, this was a way of giving him a huge punch to his face, but with a sword.

”I will show why I should have been saved.” He said to Daimaru.

He wasn’t really close to Daimaru, but he was from the long-arm tribe and the sword gave him enough reach to hit Daimaru from distance. It was the one advantage he had over other regular swordsmen and that was his reach in battle was better. Kusanagi was there to block any incoming attacks that might have come his way that he missed.

Dais fingers still stung slightly from the vibrations from the hit that Yuurei had hit his sword with. He groaned as he proceeded to yell at him. he had made a somewhat valid point. His anger slowly began to surface as he in return shouted back at Yuurei. "You think I don't mourn her loss, I couldn't live with what I had done to you I tried to leave Jaya to get to impel down when they announced your execution in the paper. Mashyuu be damned I couldn't live with the guilt that I couldn't save another friend, that's why I Left Jaya to get to you Mashyuu disappeared and hadn't said a damn word about you. I honestly think he wanted to get rid of you I know it was too little too late but I at least tried and so did Gideon."

As he finished speaking remaining in his original positioning but something was off. He felt different. Like he had suddenly put on weight. He groaned as his muscles all felt like lead. However, he did not succumb to falling down to his knees. He felt so sluggish what the hell was going on? He glared at Yuurei as he suddenly disappeared from his line of sight first he was in front of him now he was gone. he panicked as he darted his eyes around trying to find Yuurei.

Suddenly he felt a searing pain as he was hit in the side of his face with the back of a sword. He felt his cheek sink in as he groaned as he was sent flying towards the side. He groaned as he was a few inches off the ground and slammed his sword into the ground and anchored himself as he was flung across the forest. The sword cutting through the ground as his mechanical hand remained locked on it. Panting heavily he pulled himself up from the ground and tossed the flame dial back into his pocket. Blood dripped from the side of his mouth onto the forest floor. "Seems like you have been through some more changes than just impel down." He groaned as he pulled the blade out of the ground. He slowly returned to his original guarding stance his blade outstretched to the side at chest height.

He wiped the dirt off his pants off of the left side. "Sorry about that Yubashiri." He stuck out his tongue and licked the blood from his left side of his bottom lip. "If you want to settle this let's do this right, as a swordsman and as men, well Fishman to human I should say." He began to walk back towards where Yuurei was. "So call me crazy but either I got suddenly slower from that first strike or you got yourself a special ability how about we just use our strength and speed no gimmicks. Just you and me and our swords and our bare wits?"

He would more than likely not get his way but he pegged Yuurei for an honorable man. Although he honestly did deserve this beating without fighting back. Deep in the back of his mind, he doubted himself and hated himself for his actions. "It pains me having to fight you. Much worse than what you could do to me physically my friend." Or so he assumed as he had no clue how much yuurei was holding back against him.

Yuurei ignored what he had said about how he tried to come to rescue him. He said the same thing as Gideon, but they should have been out on the seas looking for him then. They shouldn’t have been on Jaya waiting for something to happen. That was the reason why they ended up in a situation where marines had attacked them and Daimaru losing his arm. The sad thing about all of that was the simple fact that Mashyuu wasn’t with them. That just meant that man left his crew for no reason, which was sad, to say the least. Still, he would hear Daimaru’s words when he spoke about him changing since Impel Down. He did get stronger since then, and it was around that time frame where the time to learn more about the abilities of his. He did hear Daimaru talk about settling this as a swordsman, which caused him to smile.

He didn’t have a swordsman fight in a long time, but if that was the case, then he was going to show him what it meant to be a swordsman. He sighed as he dispelled his gravity field as he couldn’t use the one thing that was a part of him. Well, he could if he used his swords right? Still, he allowed Daimaru to speak and he chuckled when he heard about the man being slower than he usually was.

”Yeah I have the ability to make the area around me heavier. It’s easier for me to slow someone down and take ya out that way. Still, ya asking me to fight ya with just my swords then I will do just that for ya. And ya right I am holding back as ya can see I smacked you with the back of the blade instead of slicing ya because that would be too quick.” He said as he started taking out his other swords.

In his left hand he had equipped himself with four blades, which were all O Wazamono, and on his right hand, he was holding his Saijo Wazamono, Benihime, as he looked at Daimaru with a serious look on his face. He got into a stance as right now as he was looking at Daimaru. He started moving towards his right slowly as he was getting his feet off the ground and looking for a moment to rush at his former crewmate. He had a smile on his face because his friend knew the difference in power between them was different.

”I can’t say I feel the same way Daimaru, but at least I will fight you fairly, but keep trying to defend yourself verbally and that might change.” He said to his friend.

At this moment he had decided he had a spot to attack Daimaru. He would run towards the Fishman as quickly as he could. He could tell that his friend had been trying to stay in a defensive stance this whole time, so Yuurei would try to use that to his advantage. He had brought down Benihime from his right towards Yubashiri. Whether or not those two connect, Daimaru would see Yuurei’s left hand coming straight at him and at the right side of his waist. Yuurei didn’t just have the advantages because he was stronger, or because he had more swords, but it was because he had long arms, which meant his reach was better than most. He figured everyone thought he was human for some reason, but they never paid attention to his arms.

Daimaru must have gotten through to his old friend as he felt his body lighten and return to normal. As Yuurei opened up his mouth he immediately jumped back to test out his returned normal gravity. He would jump back just outside of Yuurei's long arms reach including the length of his swords. He smirked as Yuurei explained he did indeed acquire a gravitational ability. So Yuurei now was a devil fruit consumer. That would be important news for him especially if they teamed up again. He did miss his friend and the shenanigans they had pulled off. He watched as Yuurei swung at his old previous location and he held up his hand to halt Yuurei. "Ok time, time, time right the fuck out!" He chuckled as he held up his cybernetic arm.

He reached behind him "Just let me get rid of a few things that I don't want to be broken." With that, he reached behind him with his robotic arm and retrieved the flame dial from his left front pocket. He sighed as and tossed it over onto his robe. And proceeded to grab the locket from around his neck and toss it as well onto his robe and placing Yubashiri's handle in his mouth. He pulled out the impact and reject dials he recently acquired. He had not used either of them yet so far and want to try them out. However, he had agreed to a no gimmicks fight and would abide by his rule.

He noted all the swords he had upon him The saijo o-wazemono blade Benihime, Nidai Kitetsu, Edge King and Kusanagi. This was definitely going to be a difficult fight. He took out Yubashiri from his mouth with his robotic hand and grasped his hand over it and placed his other hand over it. He felt the wrappings against the palm of his right hand. "Alright now your turn Yuurei." He quietly cracked his toes within his sandals sidestepping around at his full speed around the outer perimeter of Yuurei's reach with his, massive long arms and the combination of his swords reach. If he knew Yuurei he probably had a flying slash attack as well since he was a fellow swordsman. This is what he wanted, however, to be constantly on the move and to be out of Yuure'is reach for now.

He wanted to tire him out as much as possible. When fighting an opponent of superior strength it was always best to either tire them out or outnumber them. as he was alone he only had the one available option. His blade continued to crackle with lightning around it as he prepared as well as a countermeasure should Yuurei even move he would prepare a horizontal flying slash attack as soon as he came in to strike him in close range he would release it. He was more than likely going to lose this fight but he was not going to go down easily even if Yuurei was holding back.

Yuurei had watched Daimaru jump away before he could attack. He wouldn’t have gone to where he was and attacked the air that would be stupid. Anyways he heard him telling him to give him a second, and he had all the time in the world. He watched him take out some of his stuff, and toss it to the side. He didn’t know why he was doing this, but he figured that this man had a reason for it. He noticed all the things that Daimaru had with him and knew about a few of them because he had one as well. When he heard his reason for doing this he could only chuckle about it. His right arm twitched again when he saw Yubashiri once again. That was a sword he could have easily added into his list of swords. Still, he didn’t want to take it from him unless he offered him the weapon.

”I’m not throwing my stuff to the side, that wouldn’t be smart of me. I have too many things to lose, and at the same time I have too many things to get rid of. We will be here for hours. You would just have to believe this thief when he says he won’t use anything beside his swordsmanship.” He said to Daimaru as he was going to start again.

Yuurei could see the lightning running across the man’s weapon as well and he could only smile at him because he was getting ready to fight him. He had activated his Observation as he figured the little shark man would be a sneaky bastard. He had ran straight at Daimaru without a second to waste. His pace was quick and at full speed as he could see that the man was planning something. When he got close enough he would see Daimaru’s attack being launched towards him. The swordsman could see the attack on his person, so he knew to dodge the attack. He would duck under the windslash without a problem and when he got close to Daimaru would swipe with his left hand towards Daimaru’s shoulder, and then his right hand would be aimed to hit Daimaru’s abdomen.

It wasn’t just that, but he had done something else. They were fighting as swordsman and as a swordsman he learned to use his other limbs as well in combat. He had thrusted his left leg towards Daimaru’s right thigh as well to get him off his feet. There was a part of him that felt bad for Daimaru, but at the same time he knew that it was too late. Yuurei was moving at full speed at this point as he was making sure that this man would have little to no time to react to any of his attacks. He had planned to do this to Daimaru from the beginning, but at least he wasn’t cutting him up and using the backside of the blades. It wasn’t just that, but he was holding on hitting him with full power as well.

This fight was beginning to take its slow toll on him. Yuurei was indeed much better than him at this point in time. He watched as the man easily dodged his attacks one after the other. This was not going to end in his victory he knew that much at this point. He was slightly amused Yuurei spoke about not wishing to remove his items saying they would be here for hours. "Well, then my old friend least ill have your word that you won't be using them." Yuurei once again would blitz past his defenses. He watched as Yuureis fist was coming in and his stomach was open.

However, for a moment his stomach tightened and felt harder as the man's fist came pushing into it. There was no pain however he felt the impact from the man. then as the man pulled his fist away the tightness left his stomach and it felt normal once again. His right thigh had been hit as well and he was tossed up in the air a few inches. He growled as he felt the kick and spun to the right side to try and kick the right side of Yuureis head with his right let. His sword crackling with electricity his heart was pounding inside his ears. This fight was perhaps the most fun he had had since he lost his left arm. His growl turned into a great big grin. The old dai was making his way to the surface once again.

His fun-loving personality clawed desperately at a wall that had once blocked him from reality. He had put it up as a means of protection. The shock of losing his arm had made him put up a barrier of sorts. His brain was now slowly breaking out of its imprisonment. He felt something within him also pulse with life. It felt strange it was something he had never experienced before. it was like there was something slowly stirring inside him as if something had finally been awakened from a long sleep. He outstretched his mechanical limb and used it to spring himself backward his feet sliding against the ground as he panted.

"Your good Yuurei, I didn't expect you to have been able to dodge my attacks like this-this is by far the most fun I've had in months." His thigh muscles twitched from where Yuurei had hit him. It was more than likely going to leave a bruise. his attacks were far to straight forward he needed to learn to be more adaptive. Become sneakier with his attacks. Not to mention if he kept this up there would not be much forest left if he kept throwing out his flying slash attacks. "So tell me, old friend, what else are you hiding beside the use of those spectacular blades, you moved about as if you knew my attack was coming beforehand what sort of power is that?" He was genuinely curious about his friend's abilities and wondered what else he could do perhaps even instruct him. He wanted to also figure out how he had made his stomach feel like it had been armored briefly.

Yuurei had watched as his first attack had gone straight for is blade, and from there on out everything played out how he expected it would. He had connected a hit on Daimaru’s stomach, but he noticed something, which made him chuckle. This man had the potential to use that ability as well. That was good to know, but he saw that it was brief, which meant that he didn’t master it completely. His kick would also land on him, and he expected that Daimaru didn’t see that one coming, but to be honest this was how he fought as a swordsman. He would see that it had brought the fish man into the air, which caused the man to try and attack. That was the smart thing to do as he had done that before in fights as well. He had the time to block the attack, but instead Yuurei decided to use his armament to cover his face and do the blocking for him.

Daimaru’s leg would collide with Yuurei’s face, but nothing would happen with that attack. His armament was not visible anymore unless the swordsman wanted to show it off, but that was not an option he would choose against his foes. He could only smile at the swordsman who was in the air as Yuurei had him where he wanted him. He was about to attack him, and finish him off, but he decided to hold back. Daimaru wouldn’t be join him on his adventures, but he would help him with something on the side. It was a parting gift of sort from one former crewmate to the other. He watched the man get back on his feet doing all that he could to make sure that he didn’t fall onto his face. The swordsman would just crack his neck as he was wondering what he was going to do next, if he was going to do anything at all.

”Thank you Daimaru. I have constantly been in battles against people who were stronger than me and were trying to take my life, so this battle isn’t hard to follow. I’m glad you are having though, but try not to get yourself kill.” He said to the sharkman as he got into position as he waited for something to happen.

He was about to attack, but Daimaru asked him a question. He twitched a bit and chuckled when it looked like his friend had noticed something about his ability. It was a good observation towards his observation. He shook his head as he brushed his hair back and figured he would take off his eye patch as he would look at Daimaru with both of his eyes this time. He figured he would have a conversation with this man, giving his eye some time to adjust and to see his reaction.

”Always knew you were smart, but yes the ability I use to see your attacks coming is Observation Haki. Haki in general is what I’m using. It is an ability that everyone in this world has, but you will need to unlock it to be able to use it. For example, when I hit you in the stomach you had used what was called Armament Haki. It is a form of way to protect yourself from damage, but also a way to do more damage to your opponent.” He paused for a second before he continued talking.

”You can even hit devil fruit users and where your hits connect will return to normal for that instant. Still, you seem capable of learning armament, so let’s see what will happen next.” He said to Daimaru as he ran to him the moment he finished speaking.

When he got close to the man he had rapidly swung his arms at Daimaru to see how he would defend against the attacks and at the same time he would try to attempt a thrust with his foot to his friend’s stomach.

Daimaru was sure his kick would of connected and done some damage to Yuureis face, however once upon impact with the side of his face, there was an immediate difference in feeling. Instead of the soft sensation of flesh, there was a hardness to Yuureis. Much like the same sensation he had felt briefly around his stomach. What the hell was going on was it another ability that you're I was using against him. It didn't make any sense to his brain. HIs kick had not even faced Yuurei in the slightest bit. His eyes widened in shock as he stared at Yuurei. His heart was ringing in his ears.

How just how had he gotten so much stronger than him. it was Maddening almost. Sure they were near equals in terms of power back when they were on the phantom raiders. But now this made his own endurance and strength become dwarfed in comparison. Perhaps prison truly did do wonders for Yuurei just what sort of routine did he do while he was captured. To have endured so much strife and suffering. He had heard rumors of the hell that was impel down. His attention was brought back as Yuurei spoke to him. The man was actually thanking him for the fight that they were having. However, his pride was wounded as he stated that this fight was easy to follow.

"Oh don't worry about me kicking the bucket, you know I'm too stubborn to die till I find my friends that were taken from me so long ago, all be it minus one who died in water seven right in my arms." He gritted his teeth as they ground against one another in agitation at the memory of holding his friend Ocha in his arms as she died he heard had been blown clean off by a slave collar that had been around her neck.

He was glad to see that Yuurei had stopped from attacking him for a moment. He narrowed his eyes as Yuurei began to explain to him about how he was dodging his attacks. He narrowed his eyes as the man spoke about Haki. He would wait till he finished speaking about his explanation about Observation Haki before he would speak again. "Ahhh Haki that makes sense the name does sound familiar but I never expected that I would be able to use it myself." He clenched his fist with his right hand as he tried to recall the feeling he had experienced when he was about to be hit in his stomach.

So what he had used was called armament Haki. Most intriguing indeed and it appeared he may have even awakened it hopefully. He wanted to learn more about it but it appeared Yuurei had other plans in mind. Once again Yuurei rapidly swung his arms at Daimaru to try and land a hit on him. However, he was prepared this time he could slightly recall the feeling of when he had activated his armament Haki as he felt it activate as soon as Yuurei placed his foot in his stomach. He groaned and feigned pain and then smirked as he imagined the feeling of the armament Haki overtaking his right hand as he would attempt to hit him in the face. His hand would turn black for a moment and faded and returned to its white coloring and then back again just as so soon as he was going to make contact with Yuureis right side of his face hopefully landing a solid hit on the warlord.
